Job summary

Octopus Electric Vehicles, part of the Octopus Energy Group, is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Python and React) to join the product and engineering team in London. You will build APIs, frontends, and scalable systems across AWS, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases, shaping our EV leasing platform.

You’ll own features end-to-end, contribute to design systems, and mentor teammates while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Python and React development.
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL APIs and data modeling.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.

Responsibilities

• Build APIs and integrate with internal and external services.
• Develop frontend applications with React/Next.js for diverse devices.
• Create performant, scalable backend and data pipelines.
• Collaborate across teams and own features from inception to delivery.
