Job summary

Octopus Electric Vehicles, part of the Octopus Energy Group, is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Python & React) to join our product and engineering team in the UK. You’ll build APIs, develop frontend experiences, and create scalable systems powering our electric car leasing platform.

You’ll work with Python, GraphQL, React/Next.js, PostgreSQL and NoSQL on AWS, collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-impact features with a strong focus on quality and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Python and React.
• Proficiency designing expressive APIs with GraphQL.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Solid coding principles for robust, scalable software.
• Proven ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Ownership of features from inception to delivery.
