Job summary

Xe.com, a cross-border payments platform, seeks a senior full-stack engineer to own end-to-end features from API design to frontend experiences and backend services. You will shape architecture, improve reliability, and lead delivery in a small team with product, design and compliance access.

You’ll mentor engineers and drive modernization using Copilot and AI tools daily. You will work on multi-currency flows across onboarding, KYC/KYB, payment initiation, FX, settlement, and related services,

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years building production web applications, end-to-end.
• Strong frontend proficiency with Vue.js, React, or equivalent.
• Strong backend proficiency in C# / .NET; other OOP languages welcome.
• Solid SQL and relational database fundamentals.
• Writing and maintaining tests as part of how you ship.
• Daily use of agentic coding tools across the SDLC.
• Production experience on AWS with CI/CD and modern deployment practices.
• Strong system design and architecture experience (microservices, event-driven).
• Payments, FX, or regulated-industry experience.
• Track record of technical leadership: mentoring engineers and architecture decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and own features across the stack that move money and manage multi-currency balances.
• Lead delivery of customer-facing features from the UI through to backend services.
• Own production health for your domain, including reliability, observability, on-call, and incident response.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with product, design, and compliance from framing through launch.
• Lead design reviews, set technical direction, and mentor mid-level engineers.
• Use agentic coding tools daily and drive modernization from legacy services to the new stack.
