Job summary

Xe.com is seeking a senior backend engineer to own real problems end-to-end—from API design and data modeling to service implementation and production reliability. You will work on moving money across currencies, leading cross-functional delivery, and modernizing the platform stack.

You will mentor mid-level engineers, participate in design reviews, and use AI-assisted coding tools daily across the SDLC as Xe rebuilds its platform layer.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10+ years building production backend services.
• Strong C# / .NET backend proficiency.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and own backend services moving money and managing multi-currency balances.
• Lead cross-functional delivery with product, compliance, and operations to launch.
• Build partner integrations and settlement infrastructure for your domain.
• Own production health: reliability, observability, on-call, incident response.
• Lead design reviews, set technical direction, mentor engineers.
• Use AI-assisted coding tools daily and modernize legacy services.
