• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience in backend and frontend delivery.
• Proven ability to shape engineering practice and lead teams through change.
• Strong microservice design experience and reliable production delivery.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and data schemas.

Responsibilities

• Build and release backend microservices, UI apps and DB changes to production.
• Shape architecture to align with a Java 21+ microservice structure.
• Accelerate delivery cadence through hands-on contribution and reliability.
• Set engineering standards and mentor engineers in modern practices.
• Partner with leaders to align delivery with business needs.
• Strengthen testing, code review, and operational readiness culture.
• Remove impediments and surface risks to programme management.
• Support services in Docker on Kubernetes within GCP.
