Job summary

IFS is hiring a senior software engineer to design and build scalable, API-first platforms for industrial AI. You will own both front-end and back-end tasks, harnessing React for UI and GoLang for services, and work across cloud-native architectures.

This role embraces hybrid work in a fast-paced, product-led environment, where you mentor teammates, drive quality through automated tests and observability, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Platform teams to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack experience with front-end and back-end development.
• Proficiency in React or similar frontend frameworks.
• Back-end expertise with GoLang or equivalent language.
• Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-native apps.
• Solid DevOps practice including CI/CD, monitoring and automation.
• Deliver secure, observable, production-grade software.
• Focus on code quality, testing, documentation and maintainability.
• Ability to lead technical design discussions and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable APIs and services.
• Modernize legacy systems to modular, event-driven components.
• Deliver AI-native features across front-end and back-end.
• Guide reliability: telemetry, SLOs, incident response, on-call.
• Champion DevOps, deployment automation, monitoring.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards.
• Ensure production readiness and code quality across the stack.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Platform teams on delivery.
