Job summary

Exam Papers Plus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our London-based team. You’ll be a hands-on full-stack contributor working with an external development team, shipping features quickly while maintaining quality.

You’ll use TypeScript, React, Node.js, NestJS and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate work, participate in design discussions, and help peers grow. This role is hybrid with offices in Clerkenwell and UK-based for right to work.

Qualifications

• Three or more years as a full-stack engineer with senior experience.
• Strong TypeScript across stack with React, Node.js and NestJS.
• Experience with database tooling (PostgreSQL/Prisma) and cloud deployment.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of daily development workflow.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features across learner and content platforms from spec to production.
• Leverage AI tools while ensuring code quality, security and performance.
• Contribute to design and architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Mentor teammates and collaborate with product and design.
• Maintain engineering practices and write automated tests to reduce debt.
