Job summary

Sanderson in London is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong React and Node background to join a fast-growing technology company delivering innovative digital products to a global customer base.

You will own features end-to-end across a React front end and a Node.js back end, collaborate closely with Product and UX teams, mentor others, and help drive engineering excellence in an agile environment. This permanent, hybrid role offers a salary up to £65,000.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent commercial experience.
• 5+ years' commercial experience in full-stack development.
• Strong experience with React and modern front-end architecture.
• Solid back-end development experience with Node.js.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of state management solutions such as Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or React Query.
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-quality web applications using React and Node.js.
• Take ownership of features from concept through to deployment.
• Build reusable components and maintain robust APIs and services.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers in an agile environment.
• Champion front-end best practices, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor other developers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, tooling, and standards.
