Job summary

TP ICAP Group Services Ltd in London seeks a Senior Engineer to design, develop and deploy software across production with a focus on modern architecture and high performance. You will mentor juniors and collaborate with AWS partners to deliver a scalable Fusion Platform.

You will own design, development, testing and deployment, working in a cross-functional team within an Agile environment to deliver low-latency services.

Qualifications

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
• Strong React/Redux/ReactQuery experience.
• Comfortable with RESTful APIs, GraphQL and Websockets.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Terraform.
• AWS experience (Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, AppSync).
• CI/CD and automated testing in enterprise environments.
• Source control with Git and Linux/PowerShell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering improvements while explaining design choices.
• Lead SDLC activities: planning, prioritisation and delivery.
• Guide estimation and solution conversations with engineers.
• Refactor systems towards target architecture and prioritise delivery.
