Job summary

TP ICAP Group in Belfast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join a new AWS-enabled Fusion Platform team. You will design, develop, test and deploy software across frontend and backend, collaborating with AWS and other engineers.

You will mentor juniors, own features end-to-end, and contribute to scalable microservices, GraphQL and REST APIs using React, TypeScript and cloud services. The role is hybrid, based in Belfast City Quays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrable industry experience as a Full Stack or Front/Backend Engineer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React and modern JS frameworks; solid REST/GraphQL knowledge.
• Experience with microservices, cloud (AWS) and CI/CD pipelines; Terraform experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git, testing (unit/integration) and cross-functional agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy frontend and backend components in a fast-paced stack.
• Lead architectural discussions and evolve systems toward target state with refactoring.
• Collaborate across Engineers, BA/PO and Leads; mentor junior team members.
• Work in a hybrid Belfast setup and contribute to low-latency, event-driven production systems.

This role will be working in a new team to build out a new Platform based on the latest technology and architecture. You will be working alongside AWS and learning from the best. As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for demonstrating excellent technical competencies with a desire to improve and mentor junior members of the team.
