Job summary

Junior is building the AI operating system for investment research, based in London. We’re hiring a senior frontend/backend engineer who will own features end to end across the frontend, backend and data layer, shipping weekly and working closely with demanding, paying customers.

You’ll work with TypeScript, Next.js and PostgreSQL, build AI-powered products, and help define our engineering culture as the team grows in London’s Farringdon office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong in TypeScript, Next.js and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to build a polished React/Next.js interface or solve TS problems live.
• Solid foundations in data structures and system design.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across frontend, backend and data layer.
• Ship on a weekly cadence and iterate quickly.
• Design and build new ways of working with computers.
• Work on groundbreaking projects involving LLMs.
• Speak directly with clients and use feedback to shape product decisions.
• Help define Junior’s engineering culture as the team scales.
