Job summary

Zaizi Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Full Stack & Systems Engineer to join Defence delivery. You will build mission-critical web applications and API backends for MoD programmes, while contributing to edge and TAK platforms.

You will work at the intersection of enterprise software engineering and tactical edge integration, ensuring code meets SbD and Def Stan 00-056 safety standards in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Active UK SC Clearance (minimum) with UK nationality/sovereignty.
• Hands-on MoD SbD compliant development experience.
• 4+ years of production web stack experience (TypeScript/React/Node.js or Python).
• Strong API design experience with REST/GraphQL and relational/non-relational DB design.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Application Development: design secure web apps, microservices, and APIs for cloud and hybrid MoD landing zones.
• Edge & Tactical Systems Integration: Android services, IPC/AIDL data routers linking C2 displays to backend.
• CI/CD & DevSecOps: automate build/test/containerisation for air-gapped and cloud environments.
• Client Delivery & Mentorship: lead funded MoD SoWs and mentor mid-level engineers.
