Job summary

Pleo is seeking a Staff Full Stack Data Analyst to shape the analytics layer for growth, onboarding, and retention. You’ll influence architectural direction, ensure a single source of truth, and enable AI-ready, self-serve analytics acrossRevOps, CS, CX, and sales.

You will mentor analysts, collaborate with senior leadership, and help define metric contracts while overseeing governance and data quality improvements at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience at Staff or Lead level in data analytics or analytics engineering within a fast-paced SaaS organisation.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and dbt: able to write clean, tested models and defend layering decisions.
• Strong Python for data analysis and manipulation.
• Comfort with Git-based workflows and CI/CD practices for analytics code.
• BigQuery fluency including performance optimization and cost considerations at scale.
• Mastery of modern BI tools such as Looker or Omni.
• Commercial specialization: experience in GTM metrics, customer lifecycle economics, and data's impact on revenue.
• Systematic thinking on data quality and governance to drive durable fixes.
• Strong understanding of data contracts and SLAs across teams.
• Awareness of analytics outputs serving AI tools and self-serve analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural direction for the analytics layer supporting acquisition, onboarding, growth, and retention.
• Identify and resolve upstream data quality issues at source as governance problems.
• Define canonical GTM metric definitions in the semantic layer with Data Services & Governance.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape the questions worth answering.
• Lead in-depth analysis of customer behaviour and retention patterns.
• Design and govern experimentation approaches with statistical rigour.
• Build analytics optimized for self-serve and AI access, documented and reliable.
• Mentor analysts through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to cross-team analytics standards and production-grade analytics.
