Job summary

Pleo is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for the Growth Intelligence team. You will design and maintain the integration architecture linking our CRM, billing, and customer success tooling to a central BigQuery warehouse.

You’ll own data contracts, implement monitoring, and push quality data through the stack, collaborating with RevOps, BAT, and Analytics Engineers to scale our commercial data foundations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building production data pipelines in a SaaS/GTM environment.
• Strong understanding of CRM data models, APIs, and field management (HubSpot or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with reverse ETL: pushing warehouse data to operational tools.
• Extensive BigQuery experience and data governance
• Python proficiency for ETL/transformations and tooling.
• Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data engineering code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines between commercial tools (HubSpot, Zuora, Vitally) and BigQuery.
• Own reverse ETL flows: enrich or define data in the warehouse and push back into operational tools.
• Implement data contracts with clear ownership, SLAs, and schema agreements.
• Partner with RevOps and BAT to translate data requirements into reliable pipelines.
• Build monitoring and alerts for data quality issues before they reach dashboards.
• Centralise data flows through the warehouse to reduce point-to-point integrations.
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to ensure outputs are structured for modelling.
• Engage with tool owners and engineering teams to improve data quality close to source.
