Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Front End React Engineer in Telford on a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid with a minimum of 2 days onsite each week within a large Agile team focused on modernising critical services.

You will design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, mentor juniors, and contribute to the migration of legacy functionality into new digital products. Strong leadership and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React and JavaScript.
• Work within Agile Scrum teams delivering high-quality software in two-week sprint cycles.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Technical Leads, Designers, and Engineers to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and testing standards.
• Coach and mentor less experienced developers.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and solution development.
• Support automated testing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of product features.
• Develop a broader understanding of back-end technologies and cross-functional delivery.
