Job summary

LTM in Sheffield, UK is seeking a Senior React Developer to lead the full-stack frontend for mission-critical web applications. You will own frontend architecture, drive performance, accessibility, and maintainability while collaborating with product, UX/UI, and backend teams.

As POD lead you will mentor junior developers, establish coding standards, and steer CI/CD practices to deliver robust, scalable interfaces across devices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex React-based user interfaces using modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Own frontend system design for key journeys, balancing performance, accessibility, security, scalability, and developer experience.
• Build reusable component libraries and patterns to drive consistency across products and teams.
• Improve existing codebases by debugging issues, enhancing layouts, and adding new functionality with high-quality engineering practices.
• Ensure cross-browser and responsive behaviour across desktop and mobile devices.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design practices.
• Collaborate closely with product, UX/UI, backend engineers, and QA to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.
• Drive code quality through reviews, testing strategies, and CI/CD best practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and ways of working.
