Job summary

Mimica is a fully remote-first AI-powered process intelligence platform. We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Mapper Team, building data-visualisation apps and real-time interfaces for executing complex processes.

You will own features end-to-end, work with TLs and Product Managers, and help shape architecture while maintaining high engineering standards. Generous compensation, stock options, and flexible remote work are offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer with high engineering standards.
• Strong experience and understanding of React, state management, front-end architecture & concepts.
• Deep understanding of Front-end performance optimisation techniques.
• Knowledge of advanced system design principles, data structures and the core concepts underlying data-intensive applications.
• Minimum knowledge of Backend Engineering (eg. being able to add API endpoints, change logic).
• Committed to upholding high engineering standards, delivering clean, testable, reusable, modular, and well-documented code.
• Experience owning projects from start to finish, including speccing, design, development, testing, deployment and observability.
• Fluency in English, with effective communication skills – articulating complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Developing data-visualisation applications and new features around displaying significant large data properties with scalability and reliability in mind.
• Building interfaces and real-time frontend services for multi-user editing of graph data and retraining AI models.
• Owning projects end-to-end within small teams, collaborating with TLs and Product Managers.
• Participating in architectural decisions and improving product across teams.
• Contributing to team processes and RFCs, code reviews and mentoring others.
• Participating in hiring and onboarding new team members.
