Mimica is an AI-powered process intelligence platform, seeking a senior backend engineer to scale the MERN stack backend. You will design scalable architectures, develop high-performance services, and own APIs interfacing with ML components.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Strong TypeScript and Node.js backend experience.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for scalable systems.
Proficient designing APIs and managing PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
Knowledge of distributed systems, caching, and load balancing.
Excellent English communication.

Responsibilities

Contribute to architectural decisions and cross-team product improvements.
Develop and optimize a real-time backend service for multi-user graph data and retraining AI models.
Build APIs in Node.js to interact with ML components.
Diagnose fault tolerance, availability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
Refactor components and produce implementation documentation.
Provide feedback via pair programming and code reviews.
Participate in hiring and onboarding, and take end-to-end project management as we grow.
