Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is seeking two Senior Frontend Developers to join a fast-paced digital team in the Sussex region. You will build customer-facing web and mobile experiences using React, Next.js, GraphQL and headless CMS systems, delivering accessible, secure, high-performing interfaces.

The role is hybrid (2 days per week), contractor duration six months, with daily rates between £500 and £700 inside IR35, start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant experience.
• 2+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Proficient with React, Next.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and responsive web design principles.
• Experience integrating with GraphQL APIs and RESTful services.
• Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Adobe AEM desirable).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Agile delivery.
• Good understanding of web performance, security, and accessibility standards.
• Knowledge of web analytics, SEO, and observability concepts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and JavaScript

• Integrate with GraphQL and REST APIs
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA, and Engineering teams
