Job summary

Eventogy in the UK is seeking a highly skilled Next.js Front-End Developer to lead the rebuild of our SaaS platform. You will shape front-end architecture, collaborate with a cross-functional team, and drive high-quality UI delivery.

You will leverage AI-assisted tooling (Cursor and Claude) to accelerate development and improve code quality while ensuring performance, scalability, and brand consistency across products. This role offers hybrid work with three days in our London Farringdon office.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a React.js/Next.js Developer, preferably working on a SaaS product.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency using AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude to write, review, refactor, and document code efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Drive forward the frontend development of our platform using React.js and Next.js (14+).
• Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Ensure consistent implementation of brand and design guidelines across all platforms.
• Develop and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure seamless functioning of applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices, including Cursor and Claude, across the engineering team.
