Job summary

Maxwell Bond partners with a growing technology business in Liverpool to build a brand new front-end team that will shape the next generation of customer-facing products.

You’ll join at early stage and help set the technical direction, building scalable web apps with React, TypeScript and Next.js, in a hybrid Liverpool City Centre office. You’ll work closely with Product and Design and apply testing, TDD, observability and DevOps practices to deliver high-quality experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Solid experience with Next.js.
• Experience building scalable, customer-facing web applications.
• Experience working closely with Product and Design teams.
• Understanding of cloud-first architecture and DevOps.
• Experience with modern testing tools and practices.

Job description

We’re working with a successful technology business in Liverpool that continues to grow year on year. They’re building a brand new team to develop a new generation of customer-facing products.

You’ll join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping the front end, working closely with Product and Design to create scalable, engaging user experiences.

The engineering team follows modern development practices, with a strong focus on testing, TDD, observability, monitoring and DevOps. You’ll have the freedom to contribute to technical decisions and help establish best practices across the new platform.

The role

You’ll build scalable web applications using React, TypeScript and Next.js, working alongside experienced engineers across the wider product team.
