Job summary

Mimica, an AI-powered process intelligence platform, is hiring a senior frontend engineer to join the Mapper Team. You will develop data-visualisation apps and features that display large data properties, focusing on scalability and reliability.

You’ll own projects end-to-end in small teams, collaborate on architectural decisions, build real-time frontend services for multi-user graph editing and AI model retraining, and contribute to process improvements and documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong experience with React and front-end architecture.
• Deep understanding of front-end performance optimisation techniques.
• Knowledge of advanced system design principles and data-intensive applications.
• Some backend experience (e.g., adding API endpoints)
• Commitment to high engineering standards, clean, testable code.
• Experience owning projects end-to-end: speccing, development, testing, deployment, observability.
• Fluency in English with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-visualisation applications and features for large data properties with scalability in mind.
• Build interfaces and real-time frontend services for multi-user graph editing and AI model retraining.
• Own projects end-to-end in small teams, collaborating with TLs and Product Managers.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and document implementations for reuse and clarity.
• Improve team processes and rituals to increase effectiveness.
• Provide feedback via RFCs and code reviews and mentor peers.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding new team members.
