Norty Ltd, a leading promoter of apparel and promotional clothing, seeks a Freight Manager to oversee its UK and international logistics operations. You will lead a team, manage 3PL relationships, optimize stock movement and ensure compliance across bonded warehousing and customs processes.

The role emphasizes cost control, KPI-driven improvements, and close collaboration with demand planning and stock teams to support availability and replenishment strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within logistics, warehousing or supply chain operations.
• Experience managing third‑party logistics providers and performance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Confident working with operational data and KPI reporting.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Experience within apparel, retail or distribution environments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day logistics operations across UK and international supply chain activities.
• Oversee inbound container planning, warehouse throughput and outbound distributor dispatch performance.
• Monitor warehouse capacity, storage utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Ensure stock movements are accurate, timely and aligned with business priorities.
• Coordinate bonded stock transfers and ensure customs/bonded compliance.
• Support customs clearance and international trade processes.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and drive continuous improvement across logistics processes.
