Job Description:

Leading Global Freight and Logistics Company who are looking for either a Senior Freight Account Manager, lots of progression and a company who has an excellent reputation for staff retention and development!

Offer

  • Monday to Friday 0930hrs - 1730hrs
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in line with agreed financial targets.
  • Work with prospective and existing customers to devise and sell Forwarding solutions.
  • Manage the overall process of customer enquiries.
  • Report business development progress weekly to the COO.
  • Conduct market research and gain market intelligence sufficient to develop a pool of business opportunities.
  • Identify, assess and report opportunities for growth and development via new customers, new routes and new services

  • Self-starter who can use their initiative and can adapt to various situations
