Job summary

A leading global Freight and Logistics Company is seeking a Senior Freight Account Manager in Leeds. This role offers plenty of progression and is known for excellent staff retention and development. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer enquiries, and conducting market research.

Job Description:

Leading Global Freight and Logistics Company who are looking for either a Senior Freight Account Manager, lots of progression and a company who has an excellent reputation for staff retention and development!

Offer

  • Monday to Friday 0930hrs - 1730hrs
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in line with agreed financial targets.
  • Work with prospective and existing customers to devise and sell Forwarding solutions.
  • Manage the overall process of customer enquiries.
  • Report business development progress weekly to the COO.
  • Conduct market research and gain market intelligence sufficient to develop a pool of business opportunities.
  • Identify, assess and report opportunities for growth and development via new customers, new routes and new services
