Job summary

A leading global freight and logistics company is seeking a Senior Freight Account Manager known for its excellent staff retention and development. The role involves generating new business, managing customer relationships, and reporting progress to senior management, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business in line with agreed financial targets.
  • Work with prospective and existing customers to devise and sell Forwarding solutions.
  • Manage the overall process of customer enquiries.
  • Report business development progress weekly to the COO.
  • Conduct market research and gain market intelligence sufficient to develop a pool of business opportunities.

Offer
