HSBC is seeking a Senior Manager for Fraud Decisioning and Insights Payments based in Leeds. The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on fraud analytics to optimise detection across Payments and related typologies.

Qualifikationen

• Proven management-level experience within a Fraud Analytics or Fraud Strategy environment.
• Detailed knowledge of payments and/or account opening processes.
• Hands-on experience with fraud detection systems such as Feedzai, SAS EFM, Falcon, Biocatch, Hunter or Threatmetrix.
• Ability to calibrate and optimise fraud detection tools and decisioning approaches.
• Experience developing new processes within a fraud analytics or strategy team.
• Ability to work across multiple fraud typologies and engage senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.

Aufgaben

• Shape and implement fraud detection strategies across a core typology – Cards, Payments or Lending.
• Oversee ongoing monitoring of fraud detection systems to keep performance optimised.
• Coordinate response to flash fraud attacks for your typology and support rapid containment.
• Interpret and manipulate large data sets to identify trends and emerging fraud risks.
• Establish root cause analysis routines and elevate to control owners.
• Set alert treatment routines with operational teams for appropriate risk responses.
• Provide feedback to Fraud Operations and contribute to improvements.
• Partner with Strategic Fraud Analytics to develop models and tooling.
