Job summary

Harnham - Data & Analytics Recruitment is partnering with a high-growth FinTech to strengthen its Fraud Decision Intelligence capability during a busy period. The role focuses on turning data into proactive fraud strategies across payments, working with fraud, product and data stakeholders.

You will analyse fraud and transaction data, identify trends, and support optimization of rules and controls using SQL and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
• Experience using BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar.
• Previous experience within fraud analytics, fraud strategy, fraud prevention or fraud risk.
• Payments, cards or wider FinTech experience.
• Experience identifying trends and producing actionable insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analysing fraud and transaction data using SQL.
• Identifying emerging fraud trends and risks.
• Supporting fraud decisioning and rule optimisation activities.
• Investigating control performance and recommending improvements.
• Using BI tools to interrogate and visualise data.
• Translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Supporting a more proactive fraud prevention strategy.
