Lockheed Martin in Gloucester is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer with VHDL/Verilog to contribute to defence, cyber, and intelligence programmes. You will help design, develop, test and deploy RF systems and SDR applications within a multi-disciplinary team, using the OpenCPI framework.

Qualificações

• Evidence of using VHDL to implement efficient solutions on resource constrained embedded devices.
• Experience with RF communications and software-defined radio technologies.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing, algorithm or payload development, and embedded system design.
• Proficiency in VHDL (or Verilog) for embedded applications.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and integrate DSP and SDR functions in VHDL for OpenCPI-based applications.
• Design and integrate RF communication systems within cross-functional teams.
• Engage in test-driven development and create test harnesses for system verification.
• Optimize performance of OpenCPI-based systems across hardware platforms.
• Leverage AI/ML tooling and hybrid cloud environments to improve results.
• Collaborate with peers and lead delivery to meet customer requirements on time.
