Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Gloucester seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a multi‑discipline EW capability team, developing RF systems and software‑defined radio applications. Qualifications

• Evidence significant experience with C++ on resource-constrained embedded devices.
• Experience with RF communications and SDR technologies.
• Knowledge of DSP, algorithm or payload development, and embedded system design.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python for embedded applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate DSP and SDR functions in C++ for OpenCPI apps.
• Develop platform APIs, embedded Linux drivers, firmware, and application management.
• Design and integrate RF communications systems in cross-functional teams.
• Apply test-driven development and build test harnesses for system verification.
• Explore AI/ML tooling and hybrid cloud to enhance results.
• Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Technical Leads to meet customer requirements.
