With a portfolio of critical assets and a clear value creation agenda, Finatal is seeking a Head of FP&A to lead planning and provide the financial insight required to support the next phase of expansion.

Qualifications

• ACA Qualified, ideally with a Top 10 accountancy firm background in Transaction Services, Deals or M&A.
• Strong FP&A, commercial finance or strategic finance experience.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, utilities, transport or asset-intensive businesses.
• Strong financial modelling, investment appraisal and scenario analysis capabilities.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Understanding of CapEx and large-scale infrastructure investment programmes.
• Experience partnering with senior operational and commercial stakeholders.
• Private equity-backed or high-growth exposure is advantageous.
• Advanced Excel and analytical capabilities.
• Commercial mindset with ability to translate complex financials into business insights.

Responsabilités

• Own annual budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain integrated financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Lead monthly performance analysis and identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Produce high-quality management information and investor reporting.
• Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive performance and support decisions.
• Provide detailed analysis across revenue, profitability, cash flow and operations.
• Support business cases, investment appraisals and funding for growth initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis across CapEx programmes and infrastructure projects.
• Support CFO with strategic planning, board reporting and value creation initiatives.
• Drive FP&A process improvements, systems, reporting and business insight.
• Support M&A, due diligence, integration and other strategic finance projects.
• Lead and develop the FP&A team to build a high-performing commercial finance function.
