Turnitin is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to partner with Technology and Product, providing high-quality financial insight and commercial challenge to support better business decisions.

This broad role sits within the FP&A team and offers exposure to financial, operational, and commercial aspects of a fast-growing educational software business. You will collaborate on budgets, forecasts and reporting with cross-functional leaders.

Qualifications

• 3+ yrs relevant work experience in a Finance department.
• Strong Excel skills and aptitude for using other reporting tools and software.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, resourcefulness, and ability to follow-through.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Accounting team to ensure costs are recorded accurately.
• Review monthly results and investigate unusual movement and variances.
• Develop a strong understanding of the underlying financial transactions and ensure reported results reflect activity.
• Provide end-to-end financial partnering and expert financial advice to support decision making.
• Prepare and own monthly forecasting and management reports.
• Build relationships with Technology and Product leadership as a trusted financial advisor.
• Support annual budget planning and maintain robust financial controls.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Analyze spend, headcount, vendor costs and investments across Technology and Product.
• Translate complex financial information into actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests.
