About the Role
We are looking to hire a qualified Senior FP&A Analyst to join our FP&A and Strategy team. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to make a mark in a small but high performing team in a fast paced environment.
As a team we are focussed on ensuring that our reporting and analysis is robust and impactful to enable the business to understand its performance, and we play a key part in setting the budget, longer term plans and KPIs for the rest of the business. The team is uniquely placed, with high exposure to senior leadership, working across the organisation's operations and acting as key stakeholders across a variety of exciting projects.
Responsibilities:
- Owning weekly trading reporting to ensure we are on track to deliver against our budget and strategic objectives, working with a range of stakeholders including marketing, data analytics and more
- Preparation of our FP&A and Strategy monthly forecasting and reporting, to the CXO and Leadership teams, and our parent company Zozo, including contributions to board materials and strategic updates
- Supporting the Senior FP&A and Strategy managers during budget and longer range planning cycles by building financial models, performing sensitivity analysis and collaborating with key stakeholders across core finance and marketing
- Performing market and competitor research to benchmark our performance, and to understand any risks and opportunities for the business, often contributing to broader strategy papers and initiatives
- Supporting teams across the business with investment appraisal and modelling for new initiatives and ongoing monitoring and reporting
- Continuously seek to improve and automate our processes, ensuring deliverables are accurate and deadlines achieved

We are looking for someone who is:
- Newly Qualified - 2 years PQE CIMA/ACCA/ACA
- Has been working in a finance based role for at least 3 years (including time to qualify)
- Able to communicate confidently and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- A Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets expert
- Able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Adept at analysing complex data and communicating insights
Bonus points if you:
- Have prior experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
- Have prior experience using business intelligence or visualisation tools (e.g. Looker)
- Love using AI and productivity tools to automate and improve your day to day
- Our Ways of Working: We all come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with the option to work remotely or come into the office on the other days. We believe that in person collaboration and community spirit is super important, which is why we spend some of our time in the office and some of our time at home.
- Time Off: In addition to the 8 statutory bank holidays, you will receive 29 holidays per year. Lyst’s holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
