A leading firm within the Financial Services Sector which has undergone considerable growth via multiple acquisitions globally. The role will be based 1 day a week in the Maidstone office, or in the London office in the City, with the rest working from home.

Your new role

Overview: Supporting the Head of FP&A, you will manage planning, reporting, and analysis for the UK&I business, aligning strategy and meeting the needs of the Group Finance team.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing insight into drivers of business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, reviewing and reporting on performance, and understanding impacts on future performance.
• Interpreting consolidated forecast numbers, analyzing individual forecasts to provide insights into future performance.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
• Participating in quarterly rolling forecasts and annual budget processes.
• Creating detailed quarterly, half-yearly, and ad-hoc presentations for the Group.
• Handling ad hoc requests from Group Finance and subsidiaries within UK&I Retail.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing best practices in financial planning and analysis.
• Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.

Management Information and Reporting

Assisting with the timely production of Management and Financial accounts, providing financial Management Information and analysis of performance and trends, and supporting other FP&A team members.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a recently qualified accountant (ideally ACA from the Big 4) with strong skills in Financial Modelling, Business Partnering, and Analysis. Experience with Transaction Advisory Services is a plus.
