Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join client engagements in Greater London. You will lead hands-on software engineering, DevOps, and security remediation across Java/JVM and Spring ecosystems, with periodic TypeScript work on Node.js projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering with production-grade code.
• Expertise in Java/JVM and Spring ecosystem; TypeScript for Node.js projects is a plus.
• Experience with TDD, automated testing in CI/CD, secure coding, and dependency risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements addressing security, testing, release, resilience, and legacy tech challenges with development teams.
• Assess application code, dependencies, runtime, test coverage, deployment architecture, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational risks.
• Write, debug, review, and enhance production-quality code and configuration.
• Define modernization/remediation plans with priorities, dependencies and measurable outcomes.
• Develop or improve unit/integration/contract tests and automate release pipelines.
• Drive automated testing approaches, data masking, vulnerability triage, and regression testing.
