Job summary

GSK Enterprise AI in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with business units, delivering PoCs, PoVs and MVPs at a days-to-weeks cadence. You will drive AI-driven process modeling and digital twin initiatives within the Chemical Manufacturing & Control domain, collaborating with scientists and modelers to ship production-grade solutions.

The role is UK-based with hybrid working (2–3 days onsite).

Qualifications

• Strong full-stack or AI/ML engineering experience with production deployments.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of TypeScript/JavaScript/Go.
• Experience with main process modeling approaches and ML/data-driven models.
• Proven ability to deliver digital twin or optimization MVP end-to-end with scientists and modelers.
• Experience in optimization, scheduling, and ML operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead PoC/PoV/MVP delivery for high-priority BU use cases.
• Ship production-ready prototypes and hand off to scale-up teams.
• Operate AI agent workflows for autonomous prototype delivery.
• Embed with BU teams, prototype with real data and workflows.
• Champion governance, standards, and reusable pattern contributions.
