Job summary

Databricks seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead production-grade customer projects, delivering reference architectures and end-to-end data/AI solutions. You will own the architecture, guide design decisions, and work with engineering, product, and customer teams to ensure scalable outcomes.

You will embed with customer teams, translate complex concepts into actionable plans, and deliver with strong customer empathy, driving measurable business impact across data platforms and AI workloads.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering or software engineering.
• Experience with multiple cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Deep knowledge of distributed computing with Apache Spark.

Responsibilities

• Lead production-grade customer projects by delivering reference architectures and data ingestion solutions.
• Design and build end-to-end systems combining data engineering, AI, and application development.
• Guide customers on architecture and design ensuring secure, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and customer teams to meet project goals.
