Job summary

Parser Limited in London, UK, is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to build AI-powered software for investment teams. You will own end-to-end delivery across frontend, backend, data, cloud, and AI components, collaborating with senior professionals to turn complex business problems into production-ready solutions.

This role requires hands-on coding, strong architecture, and experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and RAG-driven workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with production systems and strong architecture, testing, and rigour.
• Genuine full-stack expertise across Python, C#, TS/React, advanced SQL, and data modelling.
• Proven AI/LLM experience shipping production solutions using RAG, embeddings, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Embed within investment, portfolio, risk, and corporate teams to translate business problems into software solutions.
• Lead rapid discovery and prototyping with hands-on coding and AI-assisted development.
• Own end-to-end production vertical slices: data ingestion, backend services, AI orchestration, frontend interfaces, deployment and operations.
• Design and build production-grade AI features including RAG and document intelligence.
• Create intuitive interfaces for investment professionals with analytical grids and data visualisations.
• Deploy workloads on Kubernetes (AKS) and Azure PaaS with IaC, CI/CD, and observability tooling.
• Apply security, entitlement, data governance, and audit standards for confidential investment environments.
• Mentor and support other engineers to maintain engineering excellence.
