Job summary

TRS (Technical Recruitment Solutions) is recruiting a Technical Sales Manager for the UK food processing sector. The role focuses on developing existing accounts and winning new business across a sizable territory, with a clear emphasis on turning opportunities into revenue.

You will engage with Engineering, Operations and Procurement teams, build strategic relationships, and target larger, multi-site customers while exploring additional products and services to cross-sell.

Qualifications

• Experience selling technical products or services into food manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of meat, poultry, seafood, ready meals or similar sectors is advantageous.
• Proven track record of growing accounts and winning new business.

Responsibilities

• Develop existing and new food manufacturing accounts across territory.
• Identify and qualify genuine sales opportunities rather than activity.
• Build relationships with Engineering, Operations and Procurement and senior site contacts.
• Develop larger multi-site customers strategically.
• Identify opportunities for additional products and services within existing accounts.
• Target and win new food processing customers.
