Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey's WorkSpace division seeks an experienced FM Technician focused on Refrigeration to bolster our Facilities Management team across Northern Ireland client sites.

You will maintain and repair refrigeration equipment, perform planned maintenance, and liaise with Helpdesk to ensure timely responses and quality workmanship. Driving licence required; HVAC knowledge essential.

Qualifications

• Previous employment in a similar role.
• NVQ Level 2 & 3 Refrigeration / Air Conditioning.
• C&G 2079 F Gas Category 1 Certificate.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Ability to use the Microsoft Office Products / Computer Aided Facilities Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular planned preventative maintenance visits on client’s premises, completing reactive tasks and minor repairs as requested by the client.
• Execution of refrigeration/HVAC Planned Preventative Maintenance Tasks on the site / sites in line with the Contract Scope and Specification.
• Must have good understanding of commercial refrigeration systems, i.e refrigeration pack systems and controls.
• Respond promptly to service call requests from the Helpdesk and undertake repairs quickly and efficiently.
• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet response times and liaise with Supervisor/Manager if delays occur.
• Order and maintain materials, tools and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Advise the Helpdesk where 3rd party attendance is needed for quotations or specialist repairs.
• Manage attendance of subcontractors and ensure work meets standards and budget.
