Job summary

Vickerstock, in partnership with a leading Facilities Management provider, is seeking a Refrigeration FM Technician to join the Belfast team. You will perform planned maintenance, respond to repairs, and support minor installations across NI, contributing to a diverse portfolio of commercial sites.

The role offers progression and training opportunities, a supportive environment, and the chance to work on varied refrigeration and HVAC systems while maintaining high customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in refrigeration or facilities maintenance.
• NVQ Level 2 & Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• City & Guilds 2079 F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with commercial refrigeration systems and controls.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and CAFM systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete repairs within agreed times.
• Diagnose faults and carry out remedial works and minor installations.
• Maintain commercial refrigeration systems, including pack systems and controls.
• Prioritise maintenance activities to meet service levels.
• Liaise with Helpdesk for contractor requirements as needed.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget.
• Complete service documentation accurately and maintain asset registers.
