Lancer Scott Ltd. is seeking a skilled technician to service Fire Doors across Swindon and Bristol. You will maintain, install and certify doors, ensuring compliance with building regulations and SLAs, while producing quotes and coordinating with clients on technical needs.

Role involves liaising with customers, updating job logs, and supporting the billing team with queries to streamline invoicing. A proactive attitude and meticulous records are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in general Building Services Maintenance work.
• Well developed communication skills and able to work successfully with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to produce clear and professional notes and emails.
• Comfortable working with multiple systems and maintaining accurate records.
• A problem solving mindset, with a practical application.

Responsabilités

• Carry out maintenance and installation of Fire Doors ensuring all works meet building regs and current legislation and are completed within the required SLA’s.
• Install and make good plasterboard, skirting and boxing in on a range of different spaces.
• Assess each job and produce a quote detailing hours required and materials.
• Liaise with the client on queries and be comfortable explaining technical specifications of the products.
• Certify each job meets required standards and provide paperwork for the clients records.
• Update the job log with notes and upload relevant documentation.
• Ensure all required materials are requested and cross check with the helpdesk to make sure they are delivered to the correct address.
• Purchase additional materials and equipment if necessary.
• Liaise with the client on any queries and be comfortable explaining any issues/challenges on a job.
• Support the Account Manager and Billing Team with query management to aid the invoicing process.

What will be my core responsibilities?

Working across a number of our core contracts in the hospitality and retail sector, providing a comprehensive Fire Door maintenance service across the Swindon and Bristol areas, ensuring all legislation requirements are met and the quality of work is to the client’s satisfaction.
