Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead flood risk projects from our London base, working with client teams across the South-East. You will mentor teams, manage NEC-based contracts and oversee delivery across multiple streams to achieve challenging outcomes.

The role requires substantial leadership, stakeholder management and a growth mindset, with a focus on sustainable, high‑profile infrastructure projects and programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects worth £2m–£15m across the lifecycle.
• Experience with NEC PSC/ECC contracts and procurement.
• Delivery within multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of sustainability principles and client relationship management.
• Delivery in operational environments and ability to manage multiple streams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large flood risk projects and programmes.
• Mentor and develop project teams and junior staff.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and consultants across the region.
• Ensure delivery meets objectives, budget, schedule and risk controls.
