Arup seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Flood Risk Management team based in one of our offices in Birmingham, Nottingham, Cardiff or Bristol. You will lead delivery of projects from inception through to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safe, efficient and commercially sound outcomes.

You will build strong client relationships, manage programmes, budgets and risks, and contribute to business development and knowledge sharing across the team, with

Qualifications

• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering, environmental or infrastructure projects, ideally within flood risk management, water or civil engineering.
• Strong project management skills, including managing scope, programme, budget, resources, risk and change.
• Experience leading project teams, coordinating technical specialists and producing client deliverables such as reports, scopes and business cases.
• Strong client and stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness, with experience monitoring project performance, forecasting and profitability.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members, with a collaborative and professional approach.
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline, with chartership or progress towards chartership preferred.
