Job summary

Carnival UK is seeking a Senior Manager, Fleet to lead a dedicated fleet team and own end-to-end technical performance of assigned vessels. You will work with onboard teams, refit and asset colleagues, classification societies and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operations.

The role oversees a multi-million pound forecast and governs maintenance strategies while promoting continuous improvement within a hybrid work environment with up to two days from home.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent higher education in a suitable marine/technical discipline.
• In-depth knowledge of maritime regulations.
• Extensive ship management, operational and budget management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fleet team to deliver integrated support across assigned vessels.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, classification society, flag state and ISM Code obligations.
• Deliver maintenance and repair strategies to optimise vessel availability and performance.
• Manage repair and maintenance budgets and forecast expenditure.
