Job summary

Carnival UK is seeking a Senior Manager, Fleet to lead a dedicated fleet team and take end-to-end responsibility for the technical performance, operational readiness and asset condition of assigned vessels.

In this hybrid role, you will work closely with onboard teams, refit and asset colleagues, classification societies and contractors to ensure safe, compliant and reliable vessel operations while managing a £50m repair and maintenance forecast.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent higher education in a marine or technical discipline.
• STCW III/2 (Chief Engineer) or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and safety standards.
• Experience in ship management, operations and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fleet team to deliver coordinated technical and operational support across vessels.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, classification, flag state and ISM obligations.
• Develop maintenance strategies to optimise vessel availability and performance.
• Manage repair budgets and forecast expenditures to support commercial goals.
