Job summary

GET Staff in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Manager – Fire & Security for Sheffield-based and nationwide hybrid roles. You will lead the full lifecycle of high-value, new-build installations, from handover through commissioning to client sign-off.

The role demands sharp commercial sense for variations, cost control, and procurement, plus strong collaboration with Tier-1 contractors, M&E consultants, and site teams to meet project goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a Project Manager on fire and security installations.
• Experience managing projects in new-build commercial, education, or large residential sectors.
• Strong commercial awareness with variations, valuations and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle of new build installation projects from handover to commissioning and sign-off.
• Manage variations, labour costs, procurement and margin protection.
• Attend site progress meetings with Tier-1 main contractors, M&E consultants and site managers.
• Allocate subcontractors and direct labour to hit productivity and safety targets.
• Ensure RAMS are issued and adhered to and site standards are maintained.
