SER Limited is seeking Senior, Principal, and Associate Fire Engineers in Colchester to lead fire strategy development, risk assessments, and multi-disciplinary project delivery. You will mentor colleagues, shape technical direction, and drive client relationships across residential, commercial, healthcare and education sectors.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–12+ years in fire engineering across relevant sectors.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and building regulations.
• Experience delivering fire strategies within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to lead projects, review technical work and mentor colleagues.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of fire strategies across RIBA Stages 2–5.
• Oversee complex projects, ensuring technical quality and client satisfaction.
• Build client relationships and support business development at senior level.
• Coordinate with design teams, architects, consultants and approving authorities.
• Apply fire engineering standards to complex building designs and supervise juniors.
