Job summary

Hunter Dunning is seeking a Principal Fire Engineer for a hybrid role in Colchester, Essex. The role focuses on leading technical delivery, developing fire strategies, and mentoring engineers across commercial, residential, healthcare and education projects.

The candidate should have 7+ years of consultancy experience, strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, and a track record in delivering complex building projects. Hybrid working with two office days weekly is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of fire engineering consultancy experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance.
• Experience preparing fire strategies and technical documentation.
• Chartered Engineer or actively working towards chartership.

Responsibilities
