Job summary

Electus Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Fire Safety Consultant in Bristol with a hybrid working pattern. The role is permanent and full-time, offering a clear pathway to lead fire safety strategies, risk assessments and design-stage reviews on technically demanding projects.

You will engage with clients and design teams, perform advanced fire modelling and support junior staff, while contributing to the growth of the Fire Engineering and Assessment service within a safety-critical

Qualifications

• A degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Technologies or a related discipline.
• Experience carrying out fire risk assessments.
• Experience developing fire strategies.
• Experience working within safety-critical environments.
• Strong communication skills with clients, technical teams and regulatory stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire safety strategies, technical reports and supporting documentation.
• Carry out fire risk assessments and contribute to design-stage reviews.
• Assess fire safety risks and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Undertake fire engineering analysis including smoke modelling and evacuation modelling.
• Support assessments relating to compartmentation plus passive and active fire protection.
• Work directly with clients, design teams and regulatory stakeholders.
• Use fire modelling software to support fire dynamics assessments and simulations.
• Help develop the consultancy's wider Fire Engineering and Assessment service.
• Support junior team members and specialist associates on projects.
